Have you heard of My Space I am sure you have it a social network that come onto the internet back in 2003. Slowly but surely it attracted mostly teenagers that use it to communicate with friends. The last couple of years My Space has absolutely exploded with people. Let me give you a few stats that will blow your mind. Consider this My Space currently has over 206 million people or profiles on it. To put this in perspective the world has 6.5 billion people on it so in theory one out of every 30 people in the entire world has a My Space profile.

Personally I do think that number is skewed by the fact that some people have more then one profile. Another fact is My Space gets twice as many hits per day to its website then Google the number one search engine in the world. My space have the most people concentrated in one website then anywhere else. My question to you is, do you think someone on my space would like buy what you have to offer?

Buy the way there is more then just teenagers on my space. There are millions of people that are interested in a Home Business or information products on internet marketing. The key is to get them to your profile that by the way cannot be a blatant advertising page. Once again like other social networking sites you want to attract people to you because of you not your business. They see you as someone that can help them with there business or they look at you as an expert because of your content on your site that explains who you are and what you know and how you can help them.

There are many different ways to set up your profile there are thousands  of free templates that are very neat to use just google my space layouts and you will have them at your fingertips. Once you have a layout picked out the first thing that you should do is put a picture of yourself on your profile then put some copy on your profile that explains who you are, what you do, how you can help. Be honest and helpful in your words. Put down your favorite hobbies, movies, book etc. maybe add a favorite video from you tube that is relevant to your profile. You can change anything anytime you like so don’t worry about get it perfect to begin with you will have plenty of time to tweak it later.

Once you have everything up and running people will seek you out but you should also start seeking them. The best way to do this is by searching for people that you want to expose your profile to. If you are promoting a home business do a search for mlm or network marketing and you will  pull up people that are in the business. Look for a profile that looks good and gives off a success story and look at their friends list. Then send a request to those people to add you as there friend because they are already interested in a home business or mlm .

Another way is to look for friends that are targeted to your profile is to search the groups. There are thousands of groups and forums on my space just pick out a category that fits and so a search and again you will pull up groups and forums that have thousands of people in them that again are targeted to what you are promoting. Once you have requested  your friends wait till they add you and then you can communicte with them.

Do not pitch them, don’t advertise to them just let them know that you are there to help them . You can make comments to them showing them you care about them but do not pitch them you will be get marked as a spammer and even get your site terminated by My Space.
