Ad tracking can be done in many ways and some programs allow you to add tracking codes to your affiliate link to track your ads.

The link that you use in your ad has a simple code that you put in at the end of it. That new link will be like having a totally new link that can have a specific track on it like ezine or blog or safelist. You can create an infinite amount of coded links that you can use in all of your ads. You can use them in a specific ad or place and when someone clicks your ad tracking link or opt in your page you will know exactly where they came from and from what ad they came from.

There for allowing you to decide whether that ad has been pulling good results or if it is bomb. Then you can decide whether to place that ad again or whether to perhaps change the subject line or content if you had some success. Now when you have great ad results you will know which one works so can do it again and again as long as it pull good result. Without a tracking system you are throwing away money because you have no idea what ad are working and what are not.

You are also allowing places to continue to take you to the cleaners with the sites that just take your money while giving you terrible results. You will have no idea where your good and bad results are coming from. I believe if everyone used a simple tracking system it would cut down on all the places that are a waste of money. You can use ad tracking in various places on your Blog pages, your articles site submissions anywhere you are trying to produce traffic. If your home business site has an opt in page that prospects fill out and tour your website then you should be able to tell in your sites back office where the prospect came from if your company has it.

If your company does not have a tracking system built in then you will have to get an outside one. Just google ad tracking and you can find tons of them out there. If you want a business that has already built in go here. You might also check to see if there are reviews of different systems and what there benefits and faults are. I have not had to use a service before so I cannot recommend on for you.

You can also forward one of your domains to a specific tracking link which can useful in article marketing where they don’t allow affiliate links in your articles resource box. Bottom line is if you want to have mlm success you must have a tracking system in place it will more then pay for itself in the long run and it will also streamline your advertising efforts and your wallet by not wasting time and money on advertising that does not work.
