The Internet allows everyone access to millions of people daily. You may choose to have an online business like I have or you may want to create one of the many other types of online businesses. Here are just a few of the opportunities available to you either as an Online Business owner or simply working from home to create additional income.
Here are a few examples:
* Online Web Business
* Online Jewelry Store
* Adsense Business
* Ebay Business
* Data Entry
* Typing From Home
* Process Rebates From Home
* Online Paid Surveys
These are just a few of the many types of work at home programs and home based business programs. Some of you may not want to own an online business. You may simply want to create some extra income or you may want to work at home, replacing your current income, without owning any type of business. The Internet allows you to take whichever route you choose. You are the boss! It doesn’t get much better than that.
How do you go about choosing the right program for you?
You may be lost to satart with, but with some of the simple suggestions shown here it can be done quite easily. Do not simply join the first program you see. There are many home based opportunities that will simply take your money leaving you with nothing but despair in the end. Take your time and ask the following questions of yourself:
* What are your income expectations?
* Do you want an online business or simply to earn some extra cash?
* What are your strengths?
* What do you feel comfortable doing?
* How much time do you have on a weekly basis?
* Do you have a laptop, access to the Internet and a printer?
* Are you willing to invest about the cost of a dinner?
* Will you be willing to maintain some patience?
* Will you take the time to put forth the effort required?
Once you have the answers to the above questions then you are ready to begin researching for the right program for yourself? Many people do not match up the above items with the program they are choosing and end up giving up. Surely it’s worth the time to give yourself the best chance for success. You can do it, just make sure it’s done the right way.
I recommend GDI Business, that has done some research for you or be prepared to spend the hours separating the good programs from the scammers. Answering the above questions is a must. Your goal should be to find 2-3 examples that meet your profile and select one of the best one that is the most suitable for you
You have to take the steps necessary to fulfill your dreams. The investment is minimal. It can be less than what you spend on going out to dinner or a night out with friends. Surely you can spend that much on yourself and start an online home business to build your Residual Passive Income
“Do I need to know and recruit a lot of people to be successful in MLM?” is a commonly asked question.
A answer from many upline sponsors commonly is something similar to the following…
“No, you can build up a great residual income and become very successful in Network Marketing by sponsoring just one person every month or two.
They go on to say that the people you sponsor do not have to be from the group of people you already know (commonly called your warn market). They tell you to think about how many people you converse with in your everyday activities!
Try this: sit down with a pen and a sheet of paper and make a list of the names of EVERYONE you know, have known, have done business with, etc. You will be amazed by how many people you come up with.
But the question is, will all these people really join your MLM business if you ask them to? Most probably not. However, statistics show that if only one out of every one hundred contacts you make joins your program under you, it will be enough to make your car payment, another one will make your house payment, and one more will retire you!
So, three out of every one hundred isn’t too bad! Also, realize that the people on your list also know others, and will frequently refer you to others that might be interested in joining your program!”
However, there is one flaw in this whole process and that is that you have to be willing to be rejected by 97 people. That is a lot of rejection and most people will not last that long. And initially these are people you at least know, so the rejection is even more difficult to accept.
How many masochist do you know who are willing to knowingly go out and face one hundred people and get turned down by ninety seven of them and just keep on going trying to sell or recruit to an disinterested market?
If you are fortunate enough to sponsor an established “heavy hitter” from another Network Marketing company who brings along his existing downline with him, then the above answer can be technically true depending upon your company’s compensation plan.
If you do take this approach, the odds of you enrolling a “heavy hitter” who will rapidly create a large downline below you is highly unlikely if you are only sponsoring “one person every month or two.”
So what are your alternatives if you can’t sponsor a “heavy hitter” early on in you MLM recruiting efforts and you do not enjoy the thought of being rejected by 97 out of every one hundred people you contact?
Instead of chasing after all your friends and family members and quickly becoming a member of the NFL (No Friends Left) club, or bugging everyone within 30 feet of you as advocated by some sponsors, you need to narrow down your target market. Everyone is not your target market. Your target market is made up of people who are already wanting to start a home business, to earn extra money on a part-time basis, are looking for a Multi Level Marketing program to join or are already a member of some other Multi Level Marketing company. You can even further narrow down your niche to only the latter group if you desire. Then entice them to come to you and get them to join your company by employing a soft sell technique instead of the hard sell methods pushed by many Network Marketing sponsors.
“So, how do I achieve that?”, you ask.
You can achieve this by offering your target market a free report or funded proposal relevant to your niche and developing your mailing or emailing (preferable) list. Then using this list, you build a relationship with the members of your list by providing them useful information and becoming an authority figure in their eyes. This is known as relationship marketing.
If you have correctly identified your market, prospects will soon be calling you for guidance and asking how they can join your team.

Signing up for an MLM Opportunity can be exciting. The mind swirls with the idea of a large residual income and the ability to do as you please. Once this initial fantasy subsides you have some very important matters to consider.
Since the MLM business is built upon the idea of duplication, you must think about how you will recruit new distributors. A smart MLmer will also develop a means to sell the MLM company's primary product. Even though many huge organizations have been built on product sales alone, most MLMer's overlook this marketing method.
Let’s look at a simple example. Would you rather have 1000 distributors purchasing $100 a month in product or 300 distributors selling $700 a month in product? Since MLM commissions are based on volume and the 1st group’s volume is $100,000 and the 2nd group’s volume is $210,000, who made the most money? It is obvious that the 2nd group was more profitable. Don’t neglect product sales systems if you can find them.
What you want to find starting out in the MLM business is a duplicatable system anyone can use. This may take the form of lead capture pages, autoresponders and the messages preloaded in them, and if possible, a reliable source of good leads. Hopefully you can get all these “tools” from your upline, since company created material is not the best available for you. Consider using a funded proposal system where you make upfront money and backend your primary MLM Business.
It is nothing new to use an MLM System to promote your business. Most of the larger companies and uplines have these available. How you use the system is what will make YOU stand apart from the crowd of the 1000’s of moneymaking offers available.
Let me give you an example of what one MLMer does to make over $1,000,000 a year. He uses the systems available; but he calls them and mails a postcard to his prospects. He only calls when he knows the prospect won’t be home and just leaves a generic message on their answering service introducing himself and his company. He signs up more people than you can imagine! He stands out because he uses 3 different ways to contact prospects: the Internet (using a lead capture page along with many followup autoresponder messages), the telephone and snail mail.
Since most people are ONLY using the Internet these days, why not consider standing out from the crowd yourself. Also use postcards and the telephone answering machine method. Teach your downline to do what you do, and you will see your downline grow tremendously.
Duplicatable systems can be rather “cold” and impersonal. It is adding the personal touch to any system which will make you a success.
